Awards & Recognitions

  • HVAO established the HVAO Alumni Leadership Award in 2021 to recognize Harvard alumni veterans for their outstanding professional achievement, leadership, commitment to public service, and support of the Harvard Veterans community.

  • HVAO established the HVAO Ally Award in 2021 to recognize a non-veteran for providing exceptional leadership and support through their efforts to include, support, and honor Harvard veterans.

  • Awarded to graduating ROTC cadets and midshipmen who have made significant contributions to the status of ROTC at Harvard, to the welfare of Harvard ROTC cadets or midshipmen, or to the leadership of the intercollegiate ROTC units at MIT.

  • Awarded to one Harvard cadet or midshipman in the senior class who plans to enter military aviation as a pilot or navigator or in another flight-related specialty.
